Lets get on to some mathemagic stuffs
To get a square of a number,I know that we all struggled with these type of tasks in childhood(i can imagine the smile on your face :) )
So lets start.(this is for the two digit number)
1.Important step in the trick,Interpret the number whose square is to be found as number raise to 2.
2.First get the square of the number in the units.
3.then multiply the number in the ten's place * the number in the unit's place * 2
Note :Wondering from the hell this two came, this is the number from step 1(raise to 2).
4.Then square the number in the unit place
Note:There is a step 3.1 which we will see in the example ,this step will be applicable for those numbers
which fall in this category.
I know still not clear,as usual lets go 4 a example.
1. To find the square of 11,as mentioned
Step 1. 11 raise to 2.
step 2. Square of the number in unit's place i.e 1 square which is 1.
Step 3. Multiply the number in the ten's place * the number in the unit's place * 2 i.e 1*1*2 =2
Step 4. Then square the number in the unit place i.e 1 square =1
So the number obatined from step 2 to 4 is 121 which square of 11.
I know you want to try it with a diffifult one ,lets try for 26
so again
1.26 raise to 2
2.6 square = 36
3.2*6*2=24
4.2 square = 4
so the number is 236244 hurray hurray the answer is wrong logic failed :(.
Here comes the step 3.1for numbers where we get double digit after performing
step 2 to 4 we need to perform the carry forward operation like (19+11 = 30 where we carry forward the number 1 we got on adding 9 and 1).
similary we do the step
1. 26 raise to 2.
2. 6 square =36(keep 6 and carry forward 3). 6
3. 2*6*2=24(now add 24 to 3 from step 2)=27 again two digit so carry forward 2 and keep 7
4. now 2 square is 4 (4+2)= 6
so the number is 676.
i dont know whether you are happy with the trick but i just wanted to share
